DO YOU KNOW ABOUT PLOGGING?

Plogging is a visible movement in many ways and around the world.
It connects individuals and communities, encouraging its participants to collect litter while raising awareness about the importance of environmental protection. Forget about expensive sports equipment for a moment and exchange them for gloves and garbage bags, because we invite you, your spouse, children and friends, your coworkers, relatives, relatives of relatives, pets, etc. - in other words, everyone to join us in this trendy, environmentally friendly hobby.
Whenever, wherever! - Let's clean up the planet one piece of trash at a time!
Plogging is suitable for anyone who moves anywhere, however they want.
1. By walking – In the hearts of Europe Plogging Week took over the streets and beaches of European cities! In Bratislava, Yerevan and Constanta, participants set off on foot and running, collecting litter and creating a common good. Supported by the European Commission, this event proved that small steps can lead to great deeds.
2. By Running– The World Plogging Championship in Italy The World Plogging Championship 2024 lit up the streets of Bergamo and Gandino! Over 80 runners from 13 countries worked together to collect a whopping 1,289 kg of litter – showing the world that responsibility is the new king of the racetrack.
3. On bike – Across Italy for nature In the Keep Clean and Ride event, environmental activist Roberto Cavallo cycled 1,000 km across Italy. At the same time, he picked up litter along the route and ignited a spark for environmental protection in the hearts of every passerby.
4. Paddling – rivers and beaches in a new glory The River Cleanup - Plogging Tour in Lithuania took participants out on the water – paddling, collecting litter and respecting the environment. We combined the power of water and the energy of the community, creating an experience that will be remembered.

How do I become a Plogger?
It's so easy! Become a plogger by putting on gloves, grabbing trash bags in your pockets, and looking for trash around you and along your route, which you pick up in your trash bag. When the bag is full, you put it in a general trash can or sort it properly, if possible.
It's so easy to become a Plogger!
By walking or jogging, you can add stretching and squatting to your fitness routine. By kayaking and rowing, you can find great places to land, while also looking out for litter on the waters and beaches. And best of all, by moving around in nature, you reduce the amount of litter, especially plastic, that ends up in our waterways, other parts of our nature, and the air we breathe.
And hey, style is free. As long as we get rid of the trash in our environment!
Nothing ignites a sense of community like a shared goal for a cleaner world.
The power of plogging lies in its diversity and community.
